Gualy jewels will retain all their beauty and lustre with some simple basic care.

We advise you to use a soft damp cloth to clean your jewellry or a non-abrasive jewelry cleanser. Do not use any commercial cleaning product.

We suggest you conserve your jewel in the original Gualy box. This way the protection of the jewel's surfaces will be assured.

For added safety, some simple rules must be observed:

• - Please avoid any contact of your jewels with perfumes, creams, soap, cosmetics, hair lacquer, chemical detergents and bleach as they can cause discoloring and even disintegration. Exposure to high temperatures can also damage jewels.

• - Please remember that silver may blacken or tarnish when in contact with salted water, spa waters or sulphur based products (e.g. rubber gloves).

• - Avoid using ultrasound cleaning equipment, which can sometimes cause damage to gems.
•  
• - Take care not to knock your jewels and avoid rough surfaces. Hard blows can sometimes cause natural gemstones to splinter.
